Happy Friday!! The weekend is finally upon us!!
The powder tray is intended to keep your craft mediums (embossing powder, fine glitter or flocking powder etc.) tidy, no mess and easy glide transfer back to its storage container. I think my homemade paper tray could have done the job just as well and perhaps maybe even more effective. The powder tray itself gives off heavy static almost instantly grabs onto any medium that ends up on the tray. (Image A) I’ve chosen flocking powder because it’s the most unruly medium for this tray.

Even if you were to use a brush to help gather and guide the mediums, it’s nearly impossible to salvage and transfer any overage back to its original container without creating a mess at hand. These trays should have been made from either anti-static or low-static materials but then again you get what you pay for, right? Save yourself some time and headache and try to find either an anti-static or low-static craft tray to save your own sanity. The only thing this tray does do is catch your craft medium in a confined area but be prepare to put up a fight come time to transfer the medium back to its original storage container. I am not at all impressed or satisfied with the functionality of this tray therefore earning 2 out 5 stars. Thanks for reading and join me next week when we take a look at the Xyron Creative Station.
