Fiskars Classic Rotary Trimmer

Let me begin by saying every papercrafter should have a paper trimmer and preferably a rotary style. Fiskars happens to make a rotary trimmer and I cannot express enough how much I fancy this gear. You can actually switch out the cutting blade with a different blade style (sold separately), see image A, that cuts identical to most common paper edger scissors for a more decorative look, see image B, without the hassle of massive storage space for individual paper edger scissors. The trimmer is also equipped with build-in storage for the extra blades but sadly the lid doesn’t latch on to anything allowing it to stay close. The unit also offers an up down flip guide bar to assist holding the material in place while making a cut. I mainly use this unit to cut & score my papercrafts and it cuts and scores precisely where I want. Although I wished they would have designed some sort of back stopper guide so you don’t have to re-measure the cut when making high volume repeated cuts. This is not just an ordinary paper trimmer but worth the investment for the functions it can perform thus earning 4.5 out of 5 stars loosing half star to the blade storage feature. Thanks for reading and please join me again when we tear up some papers with tearing edge rulers.
