Lately I have been obsessed with anything puffy, partly due to Easter being just a few weeks away. Bunnies and chicks are symbolic association during Easter time and when I think of bunnies and chicks’ feelings of soft, warm and fuzziness comes to mind. This next gear review has been inspired by these feelings brought on by Spring time and Easter holiday. Exactly what kind of marker can make an image puffy? The Puffy Velvet Fabric Markers has the dual ability to make your design puffy on both fabric and paper. Keep in mind to achieve the puffy effect you will need a heat tool otherwise the ink sets and dries just like any other marker. The puffiness is achieved when heat is applied to dried ink; complete drying time typically is around 30 minutes. This gear offers a unique way to add texture and dimension to your project. The puffiness will depend on the amount of ink is applied to the image. In image B, heavy ink was applied to achieve a realistic puffy cloud look and feel.

These markers are offered in 25 selections, acid-free and odorless. It also offers a fun and great to way to bring texture and dimension to your papercraft projects. It is a bit costly but if you can overlook the cost and instead considered the dual ability on both fabric and paper it’s rather priced well, earning 5 out of 5 stars for this reason.
